Early on, D&RG era, you have many dozens of class 60's versus 6 of the 1887 class 70's. Later I believe the C-17's were retired somewhat prematurely because they had steel boilers as-built and hence did not receive new boilers circa World War 1 like most of the class 60/ C-16's did. There aren't a huge number of photos out there of some of the other less numerous D&RG types either, like the class 38 americans or class 40 moguls.
