Russo, wow, this picture is amazing (to me). When I departed Chama in early Aug '75, those three cars were not on the line. In your photo, the boxcar conversions look pretty hasty: the siding cut lines are all different, the steps are wooden instead of steel, and they haven't been painted. I doubt they had the plexigals windows. Scenic must have been using 0503 as the restroom, which was never used on regular passenger trains as it was the only caboose that came from the D&RGW in 1970.
