But not a special. I'm not sure how often they were run, but IIRC #19 pulled these short trains from Cumbres Pass to Sublette (or Big Horn?) several times each week that year, at least in August and September. I couldn't find the post just now, but I vaguely remember a former C&TS employee stating that these highly-profitable trips made the difference between a losing and a winning season that year.

Since we're already back in Sublette, here's one more water stop – on August 28,

The D&RGW crew, from left to right, appear to be Lee Otteson, engineer on #484 that day; Jim Pearce, Road Foreman of Engines; and Gayle Cunningham, who was firing for Eldon Morgan on #483. If the unidentified red-shirted young whipper-snapper in front of #483 (apparently filming a bear, goat, ostrich, steer, yeti or maybe his dark blue FolksVagen Beetle lurking in the woods to the right of the right-of-way) is who I think he is, then his 8mm movies from that day are featured on the
TRAINS magazine video
Rio Grande Narrow Gauge Freight Trains, which SFAIK is still available from the C&TS store and from The Friends
