I am saddened to hear this news.
My father Rudy and I were members of the Square Nail Gang for a number of years and loved every moment of it. Ted was indeed the "Slave Driver" and we were all the better for it. Ted was organized, had his heart in the right place, a PLEASURE to work with and we always got a lot done.
The stories that were made (and lies told) and camaraderie of the team of the team was fantastic, and I have missed the work sessions that I could not attend (life, you know) since.
Ted was truly one of those people that knew how things work, how to get things done and just a great guy. He was backed up by an equally wonderful Nancy, and his family was absolute gold. All of them cut from cloth that we need more of.
Every time I hear the far off sound of a train approaching Osier, I will think of my leader, mentor and friend Ted Norcross. Highball Ted!
