Beautiful picture of that narrow gauge mixed train with passengers and standard gauge freight cars. Here is the Czech 2-10-0 that James Waite mentioned. It would have been fun to catch both the standard gauge and the narrow gauge trains in the same photo, but the timing didn't quite work that way on this day

But I think the 2ft 6in gauge freight was impressive enough by itself

Here is shot of the coupling arrangement between the engine and the SG car carrier

Here are a couple of shots of the nearby standard gauge line from Schwarzenau to Martinsberg. I was riding the cab of the Austrian 93-class 2-8-2T, and took these photos during the water stop at Grafenschlag after the long climb from Schwarzenberg. The engine was hauling a string of open platform "Donnerbuechsen" (Thunder Cans) . When not riding in the engine cabs, these cars were the next most fun way to travel.
