There would be dents from time to time, but anything that might cause snow and ice to "hang" on a face might get torched out and replaced. Plenty of patches on snowplows. Also depends on the time of year, in spring, a plow with scars might sit for a while before the shop gets to it. In fall, it would be ready for action.
