Unless things have really changed in academics, you should major in physics,(i.e. Bachelor of Science in Physics), rather than something called space science. If you can handle the math in physics, then you can get a graduate degree in astrophysics.

Be carefull when selecting academic programs. Some "science sounding" degrees are being offered as Bachelor of Arts degrees, such as Biology BA. The better Biology degrees are really Bach. of Science. Such is true in the hard sciences and engineering.
