Hi, Jim,
The steam tug (I've forgotten her name) on CDA Lake is owned by John Hern. Mr. Hern owns the Hern Iron Works foundry in CDA, and they make all sorts of cast iron goodies, from manhole covers to replica cannons..... if you need an 8" US Civil War Siege Mortar for instance, that's the place to go!
Unfortunately, usually Mr. Hern only steams the tug up on US Independence Day (July 4th.) I can remember sailing on the lake that day and watching the tug come steaming up from the south to CDA with the whistle blowing. Quite a site. As I no longer live there, I am not sure if she still makes her appearance or not. I can provide you with Mr. Hern's phone number and address if you should care to contact him.
