Thanks for posting the web site. I would add that as part of the Red Stack fleet the tug was an ocean going tug, rescued ships from as far away as Hawaii. She towed lock cassons to the Panama Canal. Once towed the Battleship Texas as well as three of the Park's other ships like the CA Thayer and Balclutha.
The only other steam powered ocean going tug in the US is the Catawissa of 1897. A former Reading Company (Railroad) tug now berthed in Kingston, NY. She has a long road ahead if she is to survive.
