Isn't the water in the cylinders and if the locomotive doesn't want to move at all called Hydraulic lock? You can blow off cylinder heads that way too if you force the engine too move.
Coker: Can you smell the hot bearings while running into Antonito or something? Or do you get out at Sublette and Osier and feel the pins and stuff? I know alot of that stuff has a smell when it gets hot.
Also, did you guys ever experience valve oil burning and coming off the cylinders in a blue colored smoke when running from Chama to Cumbres? When you were working the engines real hard.
