Lamy has always been a great depot. Every trip from Georgetown to Albuquerque or Phoenix I would stop there so when Chris Pease asked me to fill in for him while he was vacationing I jumped at the opportunity. I subbed twice. When Amtrak had an agent there he kept the depot grounds watered and mowed. I do wonder how they are going to deal with the Albuquerque shuttle. My least favorite crossing was the St. Francis and Cerrillos (sp?) roads. There was always ONE auto in the foul and we would have to stop. I'm happy it has life again.
