Sounds like similar careers Brian. Mine was 37 years with a watershed management agency. Since most of our municipalities take their drinking water from the river, including five big cities, we worked closely with their water and waste water treatment plant operators. That Walkerton water incident I mentioned was exactly 20 years ago this month (not our watershed), and the parallels sound similar to Chama. A small town, probably tight budgets and short staffed. In Walkerton tho, they found that testing records had been falsified and no residual chlorine in the system. E-coli got into the town water and 2500 people got sick, and seven died. Two staff were charged and convicted - serious stuff.
