Re: 8mm resources

Stephen,
I have 7 reels of 500 feet and about 25 reels of 50 feet of home movies. I also have an enos-scope(sp?) that I purchased years ago. I tried to copy one 50' reel to video but it came out so dark and at the time I got busy traveling 80% of the time that I had forgotten I had it until now.
I've got rail related footage of the Sierra RR and the lumber mill from #28(?) taking in 1970. I have footage of the early SOU steam program from about 1969-1973 behind 630, 722, and 750. My only D&RGW narrow gauge trip to Silverton in 1972 and quite a bit more including the night launch of Apollo 17.
I plan this as a long term project. If I can find info and help, I may just try to duplicate them myself.
Maybe I ought to get the Dazzle hardware and go from film to computer directly. Opinions?
Thanks.
Doug
