As the leader of the Trains Unlimited charter(s), I very much enjoyed and appreciated Earl's skills at the throttle. On the second day as I recall, it rained on the ascent westward as we climbed to Fir. The exhaust was blasting. Slow, steady, sharp/cracking. Earl had his hands full. As a note, I did not want to get my new video camera wet, so unfortunately do not have video of that runby. Down on the flat, I forgot to turn on the mic on the first runby, so we did it again so I could get the audio on the second runby. Forgot to turn the mic on for the second runby, again. DOH. Time was short, so could not do a third runby. I got the Audio from one of the customers.
FWIW, Greg Scholl has my video from all the SLRG steam operations I got involved in.
Great times.
Thanks for the memories Earl
