there is a road " " that goes north-north-east from the site of the east end of the section house and ends in the old rout 17.
half way to old 17 on the right is the car inspectors house. A little farther on to the left is the Log Cabin and further on the left (10 ft) is the white painted cabin, two room with a curved roof. The first time I saw it I thought if was a carbody but the building is too wide for that. further on the left just before the intersection is the well and across from it is the site of the Lively store and gas station.
If you return to the log cabin site on the left, across from it on the right is some lumber and junk that suggest there once was another structure but we have not been able to got any idea of what it is. Its a real mystery and there are good records of the railroad structures but none on the non=railroad structures. We do know that there once was a stable or two for the wagon road and a tavern. The tavern site we have located but the stable is not located. Some fun.
