Re: Durango herald report about train complaints

That paper has been full of crap about the railroad for the last few years including editorials bashing the D&S. Mostly, letters to the editors printed show a lack of understanding the economics of the Durango area. Hard to imagine a town the size of Durango with as many hotel/motels as it has. And, that means MONEY to business owners. All anyone had to do was look at the decline of business activity when the D&S was shut down. That letter to the editor should be printed on the front page every day for a couple of months. Problem is most @#$%& can't see past their nose and complain bitterly about "the smoke".

I am not a fan of Harper but he has some pretty good business sense and he will do what he can to present a good operation. If nothing else changing to an oil burner and a couple of diesels is proof of that.
