My dad moved to the area in 1979 and one of the first things he did was take me and my 3 siblings for a ride on the train. I remember him talking about 'seeing the live steam 463' but I think it was gone by then. Still, it was a great experience for a then 8yo boy (myself) and I have since brought my own 3 boys to ride the train several times (as recently as last Christmas). My boys (they are 10 yo triplets) don't share my love for trains, but they still get a kick out it.
