Kevin I think it was a different trip. The clip I am thinking of was shot in 2013. It was made by Steve Forney. I have to say, I think it is in the top 5-10 video clips I have seen on the C&TS. There are many things to like about it. Location high up there at Whiplash, the fact its 315, a matched freight, and best of all it never stops. The sound is great as it storms along at seemingly high-speed for NG, and there is a fair amount of nice smoke laying back over the train. I do not know if this was the location for the riders, or what. They did have another train according to the description of the video. The other neat thing is Steve had a second camera, and would wait until the train went through the scene, and have the next section pick-up where the first one left off, and then reposition the first camera for shot 3, and so forth. Thus he didn't have to do any panning. Well thought out and executed. I love this scene of 315 at a location I tried to get to in 2014, without success!!
