I believe much of the firestorm could have been avoided if someone in RGPC management had simply come to the Lily or the Goat and told us 'owners' of the C&TS that (1) they acknowledged the severity of the ticketing problem, (2) there is a plan in place to address the issues and (3) there would be periodic reports on progress against the plan. The RGPC BOD is under a microscope right now, and a seeming unwillingness to communicate with its stakeholders can be taken, perhaps mistakenly, as a sign of problems. We're not that far removed from the Black Bart era, when we could not learn what damage was really being done behind the scenes.
