Back in March 2000 the White Pass email group had a message posted by Boerries Burkhardt regarding the shipment of the post-war passenger car purchase from SV.
In part the message reported: "in the week July 20-25, 1947 the passenger car #4, #25 and #26 were loaded on standard-gauge flatcars and later shipped to Seattle, Washington were they arrived on November 25, 1947. From there they were loaded onto the M.S. Clove Hitch of the Alaksa Transportation Co. and sailed November 26, 1947."
