Yes they seem to be bell happy on both engines and they frequently stay on. At times the crew doesn't even know its still ringing apparently. Both engines look great in regular Southern RWY black. I hate to give out locations cause if the engines work good they might be great, or if they are loafing then they are mediocre. A lot of it is a crap shoot. Apparently they have 2-3 seatings in the dinning cars going south, so they kinda go slow on purpose, but on the way back its a little faster. On the way back they do a runby at the college north of Summerville(Name escapes me at the moment). Problem is the sun is better going south of course in the morning. Turntable(We skipped it) is easy to find, but usually throngs around it and good shots are hard to get, but maybe worth watching. My brother drove and had done the line a couple times prior as did a couple of my friends, so I didn't actually have to worry about driving. In fact both days I did some pacing along Holtsclaw avenue cause there was little else to shoot in that area, and since I had a driver, why not. Someday I might post a few minutes of that. Its kinda slow, but neat to see the details up close. Nice whistle on 4501 but at the end of the day you are glad to stop hearing it.

PS I was lucky to go there in 2015 and get the last trips it ran on the NS to Cleveland. They did 3 trips on a weekend, with no diesel and a 7 coach train. Who knows when we will see that again. Got 4-5 screamers on that weekend, but tough to chase. The line needed to be about 4-6 miles longer to get that 2nd shot comfortably.
