That was back in the Olden Days, before Roger & Barbara bought THE (Shamrock) HOTEL & SHOPS. IIRC the owner was an Irishman named Jerry, and he also owned Kelly's Café a few doors down the street. A lady named Vera was the cook at Kelly's, and the "mild" chili was so potent that us gringos needed three beers to keep the taco-enchilada-chili combo plate under control. She couldn't sell meals to kids 'cause it was illegal for them to drink beer, and without it they'd catch fire
