I drove a 62 Monza four speed for six years including at least one trip from California to Osier and return, and a one-way cross country trip to Philadelphia (where I traded it in on a new 68 Camaro). Only problem I had was a recall to replace the vales with if I remember correctly sodium filled valves to dissipate the heat better. Well, I did have one other problem related to trying to wash my new car under the downspout at Cumbres, and volume of water was such that the floor flooded with water. I thought it was a pretty good car. But I do remember some 80 mph speed limit signs in Kansas and thinking to myself this thing can't even go that fast.
