The Elsa combine is nearing completion. We have finished the exterior striping and lettering in all its Victorian spender . The letter boards are done in polychrome and really are eye popping. I hope some photos will be posted soon. I can tell you this.....I can see why the railroads of the mid 19th century went to a much simpler paint scheme, the same as the locomotives! It has taken an enormous amount of work and time to get Elsa all fitted out in her full colorful paint scheme. All that remains to be done is to hook up the air lines, nail down the metal roof, and install the headliner. So, stay tuned, and hopefully within the week some pictures will show up showing the current livery..
