Re: Baldwin 2-8-0 SVRy 10, ex D&RG 74, ex RGW

The SVRy roster is difficult for me to understand despite some excellent research analysis that Garrie Tufford has gifted me with. 1st off, there are 2 SVRy #10's and possibly a 3rd. due to aquisitions and renumberings. 1st #10 was Baldwin# 5989 which came from the OSL. (This engine was formerly U&W #3 ex UP294. This from some material that came from Jack Holst.) It became 1st 14 in 1906.
2nd #10 is the former RGW engine Baldwin 5164. It had been numbered 1st 8 and was renumbered to 10 in 1906. This engine is the one retired in April '24. Material from Jack Holst indicates that a #10 was rented by OLC and used for many years hauling logs into Bates. I can't verify from the material I have if this #10 is the one rented by OLC, which from the Holst material says was scrapped in 1937.
Wouldn't the above be simple? Enter Baldwin #5285 ex CC#1/Eureka Nev. 9. Garrie has this as 3rd SVRy 10 then to OLC as their 103. The Holst material mentions OLC 103 as an ex SVRy road engine but doesn't suggest a number. So we are left with one too many 10's on the SVRy roster as the lifespan of 2nd 10 on the roster seems to overlap that of 3rd 10. And then finally which 10 was leased to OLC and which 10 was atually scrapped in 1937?
Per Garrie's material the engines on the SVRy end that went or were intended to go to EN in the swap were 1st 5 formely 1st 1, 1st 14 formerly 1st 10 (not a RGW engine, which Garrie says may not have been shipped. The 3rd engine was 1st 15 formerly 1st 4 which if I understand correctly was formerly numbered #285 from OSL? when it came to SVRy and was formerly U&W #3.
Confusing is it not?
