I've thought about offering to help Greg to correct audio for his NG stuff. In my audio library I probably could come up with audio to work for his productions. Alas, most is still on reel to reel tape (with a currently non-functional TEAC reel to reel deck). It would be an insane amount of work to do.
Back in the 80's one of the video producers did a great production on the Rio Grande Southern, complete with interviews with the few remaining living past employees. The big downfall was the dubbed audio. I guess they figured every NG engine sounded the same. I recall scenes of #42 struggling out of Hesperus with the scrap train. The dubbed audio was a D&S K-36 complete with an ATSF 6-chime whistle. At that point I muted the audio and just watched the show is silence....
