By the way, I am trying to arrange an expedition to see and photograph the abandoned steam locomotives at Livingston, LA, in the canal near Reserve (should actually be Garyville) LA, and on Lake Verret, LA.
The first two are both ex-Garyville Northern RR loggging engines. The first one is thought to be a steam dummy (or tram engine). I have talked to an individual who has seen it in person.
I have been contacted by an individual who has a fishing camp across the canal from the Lake Verret remains, and has offered to take me by boat to visit it. For more information, please refer to my web page below.
