The 5 locos 412-416 Class 75's were standard gauge versions of the 70 Class. At that point the Rio Grande was just numbering things in order received (or ordered) regardless of gauge. They were renumbered 550-554 in 1887.

Same with the 155-157 Class 46's: Standard gauge versions of the 45 1/2 Class narrow gauge 4-6-0s. Renumbered 503-505 in 1887.

by 1883 they stopped that "next up" numbering and moved standard gauge engines into the 500s and beyond.
