Back about March 1964, the Colorado Museum had one of their auctions and a friend of mine "won" the steam dome top from the 455, I believe it was. I was in Colorado at that time on a trip with my Dad and volunteered to bring it back to CA. It just barely fit in the trunk of my Dad's 1964 Chev Impala and shifted around breaking wires to the car's light system! That was an interesting trip home that involved an extra night in a motel waiting for the car's lights to be repaired. Sucker was a bit heavy to say the least!
