A big project, but not overwhelming Greg -
I'm not sure how many Memorial Day excursions were run over Cumbres by the Rocky Club. IIRC, while the tracks were still in place they also ran trips over the RGS and on the D&RGW over Marshall Pass, Poncha Pass, to Monarch, etc., etc. There were ten or more Alamosa Kiwanis trips over Cumbres, one each Autumn for several years, the last being in 1966. Plus there were occasional one-off excursions like the La Jara CoC trip in June of 1960, at least one by the Illini Club from Illinois, and probably several others as well as an occasional private charter, e.g. Beebe & Clegg.
