Mike, considering the enormity of what I have put forward, I would not think that it would be that hard to provide some kind of knowledge or evidence that would quash my theory. Chris Walker had the best try and pointed out something that I had not noticed but fundamentally, the song remains the same.
It seems that there is no documentation to prove my theory to be correct or mistaken. The string of coincidental factors that all line up are extraordinary, as a whole. There are questions that I have regarding my own work. I am beginning to doubt that the ticket window was initially in the wall between waiting room and baggage room. There is only a patch in the wall on one side to suggest that it was there, maybe. The D&RG always seemed to have a ticket office elsewhere and did not need a ticket counter.
What I would like to know is why is it believed that the first image of Como was taken 1883? If it is only because of the Dispatcher`s building appearing in 1884, if I am not mistaken, then perhaps we should consider that the Dispatcher`s was preassembled in Denver. Such a prefabbed building could be assembled in a very short period of time in Como. Supposing then that 83 and 84 photos were in reality taken only months apart. I do not know.
I do ask this question because of the timetables of another railroad from far away and dated 1884, being found inside the Section of wall that had the ticket window. This is a matter that can not be ignored, although David it seems, would prefer that it was, for some reason.
