Hello Weston,
I would say that the DSP&P station or depot in Denver could have been the building brought to Como, however, you know that I have argued for many years now that the freight room of the Como depot was not a part of the original depot. Long before I realised the matter of holes made along the west side of the depot to install the semaphore shaft when the station was moved across the road.
So not only was I looking for a station that was end on to the track, I needed to be able to identify that it was made up of different structures. Most specifically the main depot structure comprising the waiting room and baggage room, and the office.
There were a number of redundant buildings to choose from after the opening of the Union station, in Denver. That is a clue to a theory that I have as to what happened to to the depot that was in Como until it was decided to make the town a division point and a larger depot was needed along with the hotel.
The other clue is the odd section of Federation style wall in the Como depot office. So apply one plus one to find out the shape of the moved building. Add a little of the Gould influence and think about the areas being developed late Summer1881.
I am playing with you, you realise? But have a think about it.
