Thank you for your story of McNary on the White Mountain Scenic Railroad and some of your mishaps that day. I be that was quite the ride in the coach into the mill pond! The description of the operations at McNary is what I am looking for. Do you happen to remember anything from your run to Maverick, if you ever went that far? Did the mill at McNary only do plywood at the time of your visit? I recall that they produced lumber as well. I don't know if they ended lumber production and converted to plywood, or did they still produce both commodities? I wonder if anyone would happen to have a detailed map of the railroad at McNary by chance, or if the National Archives in MD would have it?
