Rantoul was the home of Chanute AFB. It closed sometime back and they tried to make a go out of it as a museum, but the upkeep was too expensive and most of the aircraft have found new homes elsewhere. I went to tech school there in Spring of '66 for Egress Training.
My daughter & I visited the museum last year before they closed and it was nice to drive down one of the streets that I used to march to class.
