Regarding locomotive Glenbrook: The tender holds 1000 gallons as built. The capacity was increased sometime in its early life to 1225 gallons by moving the fuel well bulk head forward. It is theorized that this was done to allow the engine to make the entire run from the town of Glenbrook to Spooner Summit with out having to take on water. The tender was rated to hold 1-1/2 cords of wood as built. Pipe racks were added early on to increase the capacity of the tender to about 2-1/2 cords of wood. These racks were not replaced during the restoration.
