Cumbres Section House- questions and modeling content

Lately I have been working on a 1/2" scale model of the section house at Cumbres. Some of the dimensions had to be modified to fit our railroad, but the footprint of the building is scale. It measures roughly 23" wide x 21" deep. Just like most of our projects, we have started with one of the more complex buildings, instead of building something simple first. Below is a picture of the frame work set outside to asses size and clearance.

I had a question on this building. It appears to be a standard T shaped building, with 3 different additions. Were these "additions" built with the building as new, or added later on? I have seen some of the Dorman pictures on this structure, and they are inconclusive, but do show at least some of the extra rooms in the first decade of 1900. One issue with the Dorman pics, it seems the length of the rear most addition (purple in the 3d drawing) was shortened quite a bit, possibly some time in the 30s?
