The B-1 in Alamosa has examples of two styles of Pullman berths intact that could be used as examples. And if I read the history of this car correctly,those berths may date from 1883 when the original chair car 33 was rebuilt as a business car. Those berths most likely came from other cars. The other cars in this series, B-2 and B-3, likewise have similar examples. Way back in the beginning of my time, as a teenager, I was allowed to sleep in the upper berth in the B-3 when it was under the ownership of H. B. Wood, and it was a tight fit and at my prime, I was but 5'10". I recently purchased Tim Mulina's Quick Pic Book on the B-1 and he shows the two styles of berths in detail, including a nice set of color photos. The B-1 is still in its 1917 rebuild configuration, but the B-2 and B-3 have had some serious non-historic revisions made to their interiors in recent years. The B-3 had a fire in the kitchen end 20 or 30 years ago and then under current ownership, had the sitting or parlor end of the car reconfigured with fixed seating. The B-2 had one vestibuled end rebuilt into an observation platform so it could be used as a stand-alone car on the end of a train.
