SALT LAKE was renamed
OURAY during June, 1899. Then in July, 1901, it was wrecked on the D&RG. The Rio Grande bought the car in 1902 and it was rebuilt to parlor car
OURAY. There was an earlier car named "OURAY" it went to Mexico in 11/1898.
It was one of the six 10-Section, Buffet cars built in October of 1883 to floor Plan 178:
CASTLE GATE wrecked 2/93 on D&RG
CIMARRON sold to 7/04 to H Schlacks; 8/04 to Tonopah RR, 1905 to N-C-O
OGDEN renamed DOLORES 10/99; sold to 7/04 to H Schlacks; 8/04 to Tonopah RR, 1905 to N-C-O
PROVO renamed DURANGO 8/99; destroyed 12/99 at Burham Paint Shop on the D&RG
SALIDA sold 1/06 to H. Schlacks; 1906 to Silverton Northern?
SALT LAKE renamed OURAY 6/99; wrecked 7/01 on D&RG; 1902 sold to D&RG
