Unfortunately that is a reflection of the times we live in today Jeff. People are conditioned to think that there isn't anything like personal responsibility, and a good lawyer will find someone else to blame and sue when you get hurt. As a result companies are covering their ass's by just saying no to almost everything just to avoid getting sued, because they know that it is often cheaper to settle a case even though you did nothing wrong than it is to fight it. Either way they loose.
We as a society are the ultimate losers as many great experiences are now off limits because companies are protecting themselves from lawsuits.
