The WP&YR has rebuilt the first 64 miles the track all the way to Carcross. They are restoring the Station at Bennett and there are plans to restore Pennington Station. They also plan to build more new coaches for next year. The remaining section of the 110 mile route to Whitehorse is in disrepair with sections washed out or covered with mudslides. The success of the tourist excursions will determine if and when the rest of the track is restored. MJ
