The dining room was okay, but the rooms were pretty dingy. On the other hand the rooms were not a whole lot worse than the Park Hotel I stayed at in San Louis Obispo, CA when I was working in engine service for the SP around 1960. "Back in the day" I think our standards were a bit lower than they are now.
