These were actually articulated or draft trucks (bogies) so the arrangement was C+B+C.

These used the GE747 traction motors (same as the contemporary 50/52/65/80 ton and other engines, including SPng #1) which were listed as 150 hp motors, so 8 were needed to use 1200 hp as much as to spread the weight.

Designed and built by General Electric but used an Alco prime mover.
