Hi,
If the money were available, a purchase of a piece of property off the end of the end of track on the Chili Line with places to store the Antonito displays would be nice. connect to the SL&RG and lay a 3rd rail to the mine. Placing the equipment there would not be easy (not all of the equipment is road worthy) but would be a good place to store the equipment away from vandels (grafitti) during the times there are few people around to watch visitors.
A similar idea for the old lumber yard in Chama was discussed until it became known as a Superfund Cleanup site (IIRC).
I would suggest a special building whare one of each different type of rolling stock can be kept (when reasonable). Maybe a fire resistant building (in case of wild fire threatening the Chama yards).
If these ideas have been discussed, feel free to ignore these suggestions and/or provide plans for the "fire drill" no pun intended.
