Cream (not milk) was collected daily all over the South Plains of the Texas Panhandle and shipped to Colorado (Trinidad?) for processing. One would assume that the influx came in from all directions, not just from the south.

Was this the origin of the term "milk run?"

P.S. The cream was separated from the "blue john" on the farm by one of these:Cream Separator
