I see where you were getting at. The point being made wasn't completely replace the long trips (unless you were reading so-so at the Goat) but to offer that trip a few days a week and the other days offer the entire line.

But, I do think Osier needs something. A Wild West themed thing would be cool. Allow kids to have some fun. A horshoe playing station with prizes, a buggy ride around Osier, a wild west shoot out.

Requires a big investment and a big IF.But, a fun thing that the kids remember more than scenery and a train would bring them back again.
