I tempt not to speak for anyone else, but let me see if I can narrow the ideas to the most common.
Idea 1:
Chama-Cumbres and Antonito-Bighorn Sunday-Tuesday.
A cheaper alternative for people who can't afford or don't have time for a full length trip.
Wednesday-Saturday
The full trips.
Idea Two:
Because of a huge cost getting the train over the hill. A train trip to start at Cumbres. Possibly to Big Horn and back. The problem being you still have to get the train to Cumbres unless this is pulled by a diesel with the extra cars.
Idea Three:
Don't Run on Sunday-Tuesday. Low ridership days. Texas State RR did it. Still 5 days of running for employees to be considered full time.
Idea Four: Making the towns and Osier more of an attraction.
More ideas were presented, but this is the fast wrap up.

John Bush posted in the other thread with his views on the subject. According to his statement, the RR has done research to it. So, that's good.
I wonder how Running a few days a week works on the Texas State Railroad? Their schedule is quite confusing as to when it's operating when at what part of the year. I'd suggest the C&TSRR keep it more consistent.
