Terry, later Red River lumber had two disconnected railroads associated with the Round Mountain mill;
1) The Standard gauge Anderson & Bella Vista, (later renamed the California, Shasta and Eastern) connecting the box plant at Bella Vista with the SP at Redding, including crossing the Sacramento River,
2) A 3' narrow gauge line from the saw mill at Round Mountain into the woods to bring in logs. The locomotives we have been discussing are all from the narrow gauge line.
The company used a "V" flume to move lumber from the saw mill at Round Mountain to the Box plant and railroad reload at Bella Vista
The Coronodo Railroad locomotive mentioned by Nic was a standard gauge, steam dummy owned by L C Reynolds, who operated a lumber mill at Shingletown. It is believed that he may have hauled his lumber to Bella Vista via steam tractor to Bella Vista for shipment.
