Hey guys, I've been trying to track down any information concerning a little known logging railroad that Terry Lumber Co. established at Round Mountain, California, to haul lumber to the California, Shasta & Eastern Railroad in the 1920's.
I know only a little about this line, that ex-Coronado RR 2-4-2's were used on the line before being replaced by a Climax, Heisler (s/n 1026, ex-Borate & Daggett, Death Valley RR, Nevada Short Line Rly., "Francis") and a Shay. The line operated since 1919 (I think), and was pulled up in 1925. The rails were moved to Westwood, and a 2-4-2 was left on the former mill property until being recovered in 1951 and scrapped, but this is all I know, and the only source of information I got of it is Hanft's book on Red River Lbr.'s railroads.
Does anyone know of any other good resources where I can find more information about this particular railroad?
Thanks.
