No. Most common were reversible seats (for an example, see D&SNG 257, nee RGS 257, D&RG 267, D&RG 43 built by Jackson & Sharp, 1880) with, in the case of D&RG at least, red plush upholstery.
D&RGW replaced most of the original (the ones not replaced with modern seats in the 1926-37 rebuild) seats in the Silverton cars with seats from Denver trolleys that had just been scrapped in the early to mid 1950's.
