You mention in your post about the D&SNG being historic, going back 34 years. Funny, I was recently thinking about the timeline of the road, starting around 1880 to present. The various D&RG(w) companies occupied the first 2/3rds of the road lifetime, where the C&TS (and to a slightly lesser extent, the D&SNG) represent the last 1/3rd of the total lifetime of the road. The C&TS & D&SNG have been around about half as long as the various D&RG's. At this point, the C&TS & the D&SNG are very much a part of the history of the road. I am glad both of them still can share their roots with the public as well.
